This weekend, at the CEA Arboreto Luis Ceballos we are going to address two very important and topical issues: the species of trees and shrubs protected in the Community of Madrid and the different types of wild fruits that we can find, now that it is ready. to start autumn, in our forests.
Saturday, September 14, at 11:00 a.m.
"Endangered flora of Abantos and its environment".
Guided tour in which we will discover some of the species included in the Regional Catalog of Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora of the Community of Madrid (Decree 18/1992, of March 26)through a series of stops inside the Arboretum. We will analyze the different categories of threats, their causes and the work carried out to guarantee their conservation.

"Well, well, there are berries here"
Guided tour through the collection of trees and shrubs of the Arboretum to learn first-hand about the different types of berries, edible berries, their traditional uses ... We will talk about recipes to make jams and other preserves with wild berries.
In addition to these activities, on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays we carry out a guided visit to the largest collection of trees and shrubs on the Peninsula at 1:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m.
