The Intensive Course for Director of Youth Activities begins in March. (Free Time Coordinator). From March to June 2015.
This course begins in March that allows the student to obtain the diploma of Director of Youth Activities (Free Time Coordinator) , whose objective is to train people capable of coordinating and directing a team of monitors for the organization of sociocultural animation activities aimed at children and youth, both in urban areas and in nature.
The course consists of a theoretical-practical phase and a practical phase .
The theoretical-practical part will last 150 hours and will be carried out intensively: one weekend a month, from March to June and on Easter holidays. It will be at the Fuente Fría Hostel. In the Sierra de San Vicente, Toledo.
The practical part will have a duration of 175 hours to be carried out within the 24 months following the completion of the Theoretical-Practice. To carry out this phase you can choose to do it:
• Intensive: camps, colonies, shelters. Minimum 15 days.
• Non-intensive: maximum 8h / day or 12 / h / day if there is an overnight stay.
Students will be provided with internships in any of the programs that EDNYA carries out, as well as in programs of other entities, and advice will be given on the suitability of internships based on the exit profile of each student.
There is also a job bank.
The requirements that must be met by those requesting the course are:
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Being a qualified monitor +150 hours of experience as such.
or
- High school diploma + 300h in a position of responsibility in youth activities.
The total price is: € 700 and there is a fractional payment option.
It includes:
- Accommodation and full board at Albergue Fuente Fría every weekend and Easter.
